TNC MycorrMulti is one of the TNC Mycorr range of Mycorrhizal fungi products. It contains 15 different species of fungi, including both endomycorrhizae and ectomycorrhizae which makes it beneficial to most garden plants, shrubs and trees.

TNC MycorrMultialso contains natural bio-stimulants such as humic acid, derivatives of a natural marine algae (ascophyllum nodosum) and Zeolitic minerals to aid in water and nutrient retention.

Mycorrhizal fungi colonise a plants root system in a symbiotic relationship – that is to say they are beneficial to each other. For example, the fungi consumes excess carbohydrates secreted from the host plant and in turn the mycorrhizae absorb minerals and nutrients from the soil and feed them back to the host plant.

Hyphae (microscopic hairs) from the fungi encompass a massive volume of soil compared to the plants root system and are far more efficient at absorbing nutrients such as phosphates. The web of hyphae act as conduits carrying the nutrients back to the host plant so vastly increasing its nutrient uptake, ultimately leading to bigger, stronger and healthier plants.
